How HypaVault Keeps Files From Getting Lost

Verified imports, all-or-nothing saves and a weekly spot check.

HypaVault is built not to lose files: every import is verified, every change saves completely or not at all, a weekly spot check looks for damage, and backups are checked before they're called saved.

  • Every import is decrypted again and compared with the original before it counts.
  • Every change saves completely or not at all. An interrupted import is rolled back on the next launch.
  • A weekly spot check decrypts a random sample of 24 stored pieces and reports any damage.
  • Backups are verified before they're reported as saved.
