Restore From a Backup

Restoring adds back what's missing and removes nothing.

Restore from Backup brings a vault's contents back from a .hypa file. It adds back what's missing and removes nothing.

  1. 1Choose Restore from Backup.
  2. 2Pick the .hypa file.
  3. 3Enter the recovery phrase of the vault it came from.

A backup can also bring a vault to a new phone, or bring back a vault erased by a duress passcode. Anything added after the backup was made isn't in it.
