Encrypted Backups You Control
Your backups go only where you put them. Back Up Now makes one encrypted file of your vault and checks that it opens before calling it saved.

Encrypted Backups at a Glance
Encrypted Backups is HypaVault's free backup and restore. Back Up Now packs a vault into a single encrypted .hypa file, checks that the finished file opens, then lets you save it to Files, a drive, a computer or a cloud drive you choose. Only that vault's 12-word recovery phrase opens it, and restoring adds back what's missing without removing anything.

What Encrypted Backups Does
Checked Before It's Saved
The app opens the finished backup to make sure it works. Then you save it to Files, a drive, a computer or a cloud drive of your choice.
Opens Only with Your Recovery Phrase
The backup carries no device, name or identity data, and its size is padded to a standard step so it says little about what's inside.
Restore Adds, Never Removes
Restore from Backup adds back what's missing. A backup can also bring a vault to a new phone.
How to Use Encrypted Backups
3 steps, shown on the screen you'll see in the app.
