Backup Reminders and the Backup Drill

Gentle nudges so a backup is there when you need it.

HypaVault reminds you to back up when your last backup is more than 14 days old. Once a vault holds 20 items, the app offers a one-time backup drill to prove a backup opens.

The drill is worth doing once: it shows that a backup of your vault really opens, before the day you need it.

A backup only helps if it's kept off the phone and you still have the vault's recovery phrase. Save each new backup somewhere other than the phone it came from.
