Forgot Your Passcode

Your recovery phrase gets you back in.

If you forget your passcode, your recovery phrase gets you back in: tap Forgot Passcode? on the lock screen and enter that vault's 12 words.

  1. 1On the lock screen, tap "Forgot Passcode?".
  2. 2Enter the vault's 12-word recovery phrase.
  3. 3Choose a new passcode.

Using a Stealth Mode disguise? Press and hold the calculator's display, or the Alarms title on the clock, for recovery options.

Your recovery phrase gets you back in.

  1. No. We never have your keys, passcode or recovery phrase, so only the phrase can reset it. Lose both, and nobody can open the vault.

  3. Recovery phrase tries are slowed down the same way as passcode tries, so check each word before you enter it. The wait starts at 30 seconds after 5 wrong tries and doubles, up to an hour.
