Auto-Lock, the Privacy Cover and Screenshots

How the vault stays covered when you're not using it.

HypaVault locks the moment you leave the app, by default, and covers itself whenever it's in the background.

  • Auto-Lock locks the vault the moment you leave the app (the default), or after 30 seconds if you choose.
  • Whenever the app is in the background, a cover hides it, including in the app switcher.
  • On Android, screenshots, screen recordings and casting of the app show black.
  • On iPhone, iOS doesn't let apps block screenshots. The app covers itself in the app switcher and while the screen is recorded or mirrored.

With Stealth Mode, the app switcher shows the disguise instead of the vault.
