Share or Export a File

Sharing hands over a decrypted copy, so the app warns you first.

Share decrypts a copy of a file and hands it to your phone's share sheet. The copy is no longer protected once it leaves the vault, so HypaVault warns you first.

  1. 1Select the item and choose Share.
  2. 2Read the warning: the copy leaves the vault unprotected.
  3. 3Pick where to send it from your phone's share sheet.

The original stays encrypted in the vault. Once you no longer need the shared copy, delete it from wherever you sent it.

Everything you've stored stays viewable and exportable on any plan, even past the Free limits or after Pro ends. To pass someone a whole vault that stays encrypted on the way, use Share Vault instead.
